About

The Connected Futures program is a 10-month initiative designed to empower grassroots organizations with the skills and strategies needed to secure funding, strengthen leadership, and build long-term sustainability. Through a structured curriculum of monthly workshops, coaching sessions, and hands-on exercises, participants will gain practical experience in grant writing, financial planning, governance, impact reporting, and strategic growth. Program Structure & Phases Phase 1 : Foundation – Grant writing fundamentals, budgeting, and work plan creation. Phase 2 : Growth – Leadership development, governance, and impact reporting. Phase 3 : Sustainability – Project management, strategic planning, and networking. Key Program Components Workshops & Working Sessions – Covering topics such as grant proposal development, financial management, board governance, impact reporting, and strategic planning. Coaching & Mentorship – One-on-one coaching to refine proposals and strengthen organizational capacity. Hands-on Exercises & Templates – Participants will create a grant proposal, strategic plan, and impact report for real-world applications. Networking & Collaboration – Engagement with peers, industry experts, and potential funders to establish long-term partnerships. Final Deliverables By the end of the program, participants will have: A fully developed grant proposal ready for submission. A two-year strategic plan to guide their organization. A structured impact report to strengthen future funding applications.
