Never recorded before? Most people who pull up here are figuring it out as they go styll. Here's what actually happens.
Before you book
Know what you want to walk out with. One song. Two verses. A rough idea. Come with a plan. respect the art.
When you book
We run request-to-book, not instant lock. Pick the public 2hr page, drop your time, and the studio confirms the slot.
What you get
Pro Tools session. Complimentary cloud storage for 30 days. Real gear, real room. Treat the tools with care and ask if you're not sure how something works. don't guess.
What it costs
$60 an hour. Two hour minimum. Plus HST.
That's $120 for 2 hours, $180 for 3, $240 for 4. Flat. No haggling.
New members: CLOUD10 is $10 off your first booked session only. One use.
Same-day / last-minute
You might want to lock it last minute, but more times, bookings inside 24 hours of start time don't get refunds. We reschedule you instead. That slot comes off the board the moment you lock it.
What to expect in the room
Pull up on time, ready to work. We're often back-to-back.
No smoking by the mics. Food and drinks stay off the gear. use the tables. You're responsible for your guests. Hate speech, racism, bigotry, harassment, violence: no place here. Full stop.
When your booked time is done, so is your session. Reset the headphones, mics, cables, chargers. Spot an issue with the gear? Tell us right away.
That's the house. Five rules. That's it.
More than a room
Studio time is just the start. You can keep it to the booth, but more times, the mandem want the camera too. Conversation packages across the network. The Conversation, Studio Session, The Press Run. We can talk segments when you're booked.
