Born and raised in Toronto, Raushan Martin was inspired by artists such as Nas, Lil Wayne, and Fabulous for their metaphoric punchlines. After frequent listening to genres of Rap, Hip-Hop and R&B he began fine tuning his musical abilities and vision, which gave life to his stage name Vividd.

He first performed at an open mic night at Soul Train in 2010, then moved on to Mod club, Mbar and Webster Hall in New York.
